Microsoft’s game subscription service Xbox Game Pass continues to grow. This highly acclaimed service already has 18 million subscribers. Last September, this number was 15 million.
Microsoft has been vigorously promoting the development of Xbox Game Pass service. At the end of last year, Destiny 2 logged into Xbox Game Pass, and both Xbox and PC players can play TGA 2019's best art director award-winning work Control.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella disclosed in the earnings conference call that Xbox Live has more than 100 million active users every month. He also said that Xbox Series X/S is the most successful console release in Microsoft’s history, and the “highest-selling device ever”.

On the other hand, Microsoft is constantly acquiring game studios to expand the playable lineup of XGP game library. Last September, the company announced that it had bought ZeniMax Media for $7.5b, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, the studio behind Fallout, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls.
In addition, Microsoft will also launch discount subscription activities from time to time, allowing players to upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service at a very low price, which includes the xCloud cloud game function, and one month’s free Disney+ rights.
