Apple’s online sports course Fitness+ recently posted an advertisement on social media, it shows that this new service seems to be launched soon.
Fitness+ is a new subscription service launched by Apple this year, but unlike news and music subscriptions, it subscribes to fitness courses and can open up almost the entire Apple ecosystem. Users can synchronize exercise courses to Apple TV, iPhone or iPad, so users can see the progress on multiple screens, and there are multiple exercise categories to choose from, including cycling, treadmill, rowing, HIIT, strength, yoga, dance and core exercises.
More importantly, there are many well-known fitness coaches who formulate these fitness courses, and it may be very expensive for users to purchase their courses offline. In this way, Apple reduced user costs while getting through its own hardware.
MacRumors reader Chris Weaver found that Best Buy, a foreign electronics store, has begun to publish some ads for buying Apple Watch to get a six-month free trial of Apple Fitness+. This indicates that retailers have begun to actively promote Apple Fitness+, and the service’s launch may begin soon.

In addition, Apple Fitness+ coaches have started to promote their fitness videos on Instagram. Foreign media 9to5Mac found these posts, there are photos and titles of Apple Fitness+ coaches, stating that they are recording exercises and the service is about to be launched. Every post uses the #CloseYourRings tag and mentions the @Apple FitnessPlus account.
Apple has stated that Fitness+ will be launched before the end of 2020, but did not mention the exact release date. Currently it is less than five weeks away from the end of the year, and given these promotional social media posts and advertisements, the release of Apple Fitness+ seems soon.
Apple first announced Fitness+ at the Apple Watch Series 6 conference. The price is $9.99 per month and is included in the Apple One all-in-one package. It is designed to help Apple Watch users stay healthy through a series of guided exercises. It is also said that the service will be provided with iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2.
