PlayStation 5 Trophies May Be Updated, Players May Have More Rewards

For trophy collectors, the fact that they win the platinum trophies after mountains of difficulties is actually a reward. But if they win other rewards at the same time, that must be much more wonderful!

According to Gamingintel, the future PS 5 Trophies may be adjusted, and platinum trophy winners will have other rewards apart from the trophies. It said, in some of the PS 4 games, player already can get some special rewards after they win the platinum trophies (Only limited to America and Canada). For example, platinum trophies winners of Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last Guardian can get special themes as rewards, and platinum trophies winners of God of War and Spiderman can get special headshot.

According to Tidux from Twitter, he found out some new elements about the trophies in PS 5: “When you put the cursor over the ‘Activity Card’, you can see the rough remaining time. And when you put the cursor over the ‘Trophy Card’, you can see what rewards you can unlock after winning that trophy.” 

Tidux listed Destruction AllStars as an example, you can unlock specific banner and headshot to decorate your player profile after you win the trophies of this game. Tidux said, the new trophy system shares something similar with the Uplay system: if you achieve something, you will be rewarded with some items in the game. Apart from banner and headshot, you may also win some gems, experience points or other items. All in all, we will see more possibilities after the launch of PS 5.
