Line Studio: Popular Game Based-on Webtoon

On the 23rd of the same month, Line Studio, the leisure game development company of the global communications platform LINE, announced that it would team up with Naver Webtoon to create a hand tour using the IP of its popular webtoon, Goddess Arrival. Line Studio says it plans to build the game on the basis of the original Goddess Arrival, and provide a new experience gathering all interesting elements from both webtoons and games, not only for fans of the original webtoon, but also for all users.
Since its launch in 2018, Naver’s webtoon Godness Arrival has ranked first among female readers and gained high visibility in America, Japan, France, Southeast Asia and Hispanic regions, with a total of 4 billion hits. Prior to that, Godness Arrival had been adapted to the TV series, which went on the line on December 9 last year.

Wemade: Legendary IP Has Taken on A New Look
Legend of Mir: The Golden Armored Dragon, a webtoon based on Wemade’s representative game Hot Blood Legends Ⅱ, was released on Kakao Page last month. Since the launch of Hot Blood Legends in 2001, it has attracted many players with its rich martial arts elements, and has been well received in South Korea, China and other regions.
After the release of the webtoon version, it received praise from users who love the martial arts games and webtoon subscribers. It also took the leading position in kakao page’s martial arts type, ranking sixth overall.
