U.S. mobile game market composition

The Q4 strategy mobile game revenue in the US market was USD 830 million. Although it is still in the leading position, growth has almost stagnated. On the contrary, most other categories showed an increase in income. Among them, leisure and betting mobile games had the highest growth rates, 8.5% and 5.2% respectively. The growth of leisure games mainly comes from "Gold Coin Master", "Candy Crush Legend" and " Gardenscapes ". Most of the top betting games maintain a month-on-month growth of more than 10%. The market performance of these two categories shows that female mobile game players are still the main growth force in the U.S. market.

The decline in revenue from action and adventure mobile games is a normal fall after the explosive growth of Q3.

In terms of downloads, leisure games still rank No. 1, but growth has stagnated for three consecutive quarters. In addition, downloads of most categories declined, and only the ‘action’ category showed a significant increase. The increase came from the "Call of Duty Mobile Game" jointly launched by Tencent Tianmei Studio and Activision Blizzard.
