As previously reported, NVIDIA may launch RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3070 16 GB, while it seems to be canceled recently.

According to videocardz, NVIDIA may cancel RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3070 16GB, both of which were planned to be released by the end of this year.

The reason of the cancelation was also mentioned. RTX 3080 20GB was canceled because of its low yield rate, while the reason of cancelation of RTX 3070 16GB was not clear yet. And RTX 3060 Ti will be launched as scheduled.

As previously reported, specifications of RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3070 16GB show no difference from RTX 3080 and RTX 3070, the released versions. The only difference is its doubled memory storage, while the price increases from 20% to 30% (RTX 3080 20GB price is $849, and RTX 3080 10GB is $699).

As the TMHW test show, equipped with i9-9900K with in-game Borderlands 3 settings, RTX 3080 averaged 60.6FPS, and Gear of War 5 averaged 79.6FPS at the same resolution and image quality.
